On Wednesday, 9 May 2018, in the evening at around 18:00, in Klaipėda, on Naujojo Sodo street, at the junction with Puodžių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Outlander and a BMW 530. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
