Honda motorcycle hits pedestrians at a crossing at Pylimo g. and Lydos g., Vilnius

On Thursday, 10 May 2018, in the afternoon at 15:29, in Vilnius, on Pylimo street, at the junction with Lydos street, a Honda XL650 hit two pedestrians at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 76-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 17-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Honda (12 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
