On Friday, 11 May 2018, at night at 0:41, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 37.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 806 and a Ford Transit. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who violated overtaking rules.
