On Saturday, 12 May 2018, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Krekenava–Linkaučiai–Truskava regional road (kilometre 12.90), a Ford Fiesta rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.19‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
