On Sunday, 13 May 2018, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Ateities pl., at the junction with Vynvyčių skg. street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota RAV4 and a Peugeot 807. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 77-year-old driver of the Toyota (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
