On Friday, 18 May 2018, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street near No. 106, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Actros 1841 and a Porsche Panamera 4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
