On Friday, 18 May 2018, in the evening at around 22:00, in Kaunas, on V. Putvinskio street near No. 66, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Touareg and a BMW 3ER Reihe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (18 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
