On Wednesday, 30 May 2018, in the evening at around 18:00, in Šakių district municipality, Baltrušių village, on Stasio Lozoraičio street near No. 25, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 43-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene.
