On Friday, 8 June 2018, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Garažų street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Yaris and a Citroen C3. Two people were injured — the 26-year-old driver of the Citroen (treated as an outpatient) and a 31-year-old passenger of the Citroen (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Toyota (8 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. Both drivers were sober.
