On Monday, 11 June 2018, in the afternoon at 11:45, in Jurbarko district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 91.50), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Meriva - A and an Iveco. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Opel (14 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
