On Monday, 18 June 2018, in the morning at around 9:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vėžaičiai–Mikoliškiai–Kartena regional road (kilometre 3), a Peugeot 307 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Peugeot (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
