On Tuesday, 3 July 2018, in the morning at 5:20, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžio aplinkkelis main road (kilometre 6), a rollover on the carriageway occurred. The collision involved an Iveco Stralis AS 440S48 registered in Belarus, a Mercedes-Benz 2632 registered in Estonia and a Koegel SNCS24 registered in Belarus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Iveco (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
