On Wednesday, 11 July 2018, in the morning at around 8:00, in Vilnius, on Kauno street, at the junction with Aguonų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota and a Solaris Urbino 12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Toyota (18 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
