On Tuesday, 17 July 2018, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on A. Mickevičiaus street near No. 16, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Dodge Grand Caravan and a Toyota RAV4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Dodge (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.24‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
