On Friday, 20 July 2018, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Anykščių district municipality, Vikonių village, on the Radiškis–Anykščiai–Rokiškis national road (kilometre 50), a Seat Ibiza registered in Latvia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the Seat (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
