On Thursday, 26 July 2018, in the evening at around 22:00, in Vilnius, on Geležinio Vilko street, at the junction with Jono Kazlausko street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 and a BMW 535I. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the driver of the Suzuki (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
