On Wednesday, 8 August 2018, in the morning at 6:30, in Panevėžys, on Nevėžio street near No. 25, an Audi A6 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.93‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
