On Thursday, 9 August 2018, at night at 2:30, in Kauno district municipality, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 and a Mitsubishi Pajero. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.78‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
