On Thursday, 9 August 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Aukštaičių street, at the junction with P. Višinskio street, a collision occurred. The collision involved a Porsche and an Opel. One person was injured — the 23-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 69-year-old driver of the Porsche (46 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
