On Sunday, 12 August 2018, in the morning at 7:17, in Vilnius, on Ulonų street, at the junction with J. Galvydžio street, a BMW 540 registered in Poland hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.33‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
