On Thursday, 16 August 2018, in the evening at 20:15, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street near No. 43, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi A4 (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
