On Monday, 20 August 2018, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Vilnius, on Architektų street near No. 96, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
