On Friday, 24 August 2018, in the morning at 7:42, in Panevėžys, on Ramygalos street, at the junction with Vilniaus street, an Opel Vectra hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 61-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Opel (38 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
