On Monday, 27 August 2018, in the evening at 19:30, in Tauragės district municipality, on Moksleivių al. near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Grand Voyager, an Opel Zafira and a Subaru Legacy Outback. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Chrysler (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.82‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
