On Monday, 27 August 2018, in the evening at 20:51, in Vilniaus district municipality, Grigaičių village, on Pergalės street, a head-on collision occurred. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Renault, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
