On Tuesday, 28 August 2018, in the evening at 22:45, in Vilniaus district municipality, Čekoniškių village, on Adomo Mickevičiaus street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Toyota Carina. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
