On Friday, 31 August 2018, in the evening at 22:03, in Telšių district municipality, on Respublikos street near No. 51, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.99‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
