On Sunday, 2 September 2018, in the afternoon at 12:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vaišvydava–Piliuona–Pakuonis–Pabališkiai regional road (kilometre 4.29), an Opel Omega rolled over. One person died — a 57-year-old passenger of the Opel. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Opel (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations.
