On Wednesday, 29 August 2018, at night at around 2:00, in Vilnius, on Ukmergės street near No. 230, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 316 and a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
