On Monday, 10 September 2018, at night at 23:28, in Vilnius, on Pilaitės pr., at the junction with Sietyno street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Solaris Urbino 12 and a Scania Irizar registered in Poland. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Solaris (18 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
