Drunk Volkswagen driver hits a parked BMW on Vytauto g., Krekenavos town
On Wednesday, 12 September 2018, in the evening at 19:30, in Panevėžio district municipality, Krekenavos town, on Vytauto street near No. 12, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Vento and a BMW 530. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.48‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
