On Wednesday, 25 July 2018, in the evening at 19:30, in Tauragės district municipality, on Laisvės street, a Peugeot Speedfight rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
