On Friday, 24 August 2018, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Tauragės district municipality, on Tauragės street, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 71-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene.
