On Friday, 28 September 2018, in the morning at around 7:00, in Vilnius, on Tūkstantmečio street, at the junction with Panerių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, an Opel Vectra Station Wagon, a Renault Clio, a Toyota Avensis and a Mitsubishi ASX. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
