On Friday, 28 September 2018, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Pramonės pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the MAN (6 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
