On Saturday, 13 October 2018, at night at 1:20, in Vilnius, on Pilaitės pr. near No. 28, a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.78‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
