On Sunday, 14 October 2018, in the afternoon at 15:40, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 9), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Voyager, a Volvo V70 and a Mazda 5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Chrysler (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober.
