On Wednesday, 24 October 2018, in the evening at 18:50, in Kauno district municipality, Domeikavos village, on Vandžiogalos pl., at the junction with Plačioji street, an Opel hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 23-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Opel (5 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
