On Tuesday, 30 October 2018, in the morning at 9:35, in Kaunas, on Puodžių street near No. 11, at the junction with Smalininkų street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo XC90 and a Citroen Xsara Picasso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Volvo (47 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
