On Wednesday, 31 October 2018, in the evening at 22:20, in Vilnius, on L. Giros street, at the junction with Mykolo Sleževičiaus street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Omega-B and a Volkswagen Jetta. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (2.00‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
