On Saturday, 3 November 2018, in the morning at 6:30, in Vilnius, on Šviesos street near No. 15, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Murano and a Chevrolet Cruze. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Nissan (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
