On Friday, 2 November 2018, in the evening at 17:35, in Klaipėda, on H. Manto street near No. 77, a Jaguar XF hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 14-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 14-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by a 14-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway where prohibited. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
