On Saturday, 3 November 2018, in the evening at 17:48, in Vilnius, on Kalvarijų street, at the junction with Ateities street, a Toyota Avensis hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 67-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Toyota (35 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
