On Monday, 5 November 2018, in the morning at 7:46, in Vilnius, on Verkių street near No. 39B, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5ER Reihe and a Nissan Almera Tino. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
