On Tuesday, 13 November 2018, in the evening at 18:56, in Vilnius, on Daugėliškio street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Toyota Auris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Jeep (14 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
