On Monday, 19 November 2018, in the evening at 17:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Kalotės village, on Medelyno street near No. 118, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane and an Iveco 35C15V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
