On Saturday, 24 November 2018, in the evening at 20:30, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Pilaitė–Čekoniškės–Sudervė regional road (kilometre 8), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Opel Zafira, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
