On Tuesday, 27 November 2018, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Raseiniai–Baisogala national road (kilometre 6.98), a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
