On Sunday, 2 December 2018, in the evening at 22:23, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 297), on a bridge, a Jaguar XJ8 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Jaguar (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
