On Monday, 3 December 2018, in the evening at 22:40, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 51.10), an Opel Vectra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
